Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a two-year full-time undergraduate course approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and offered by Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University, Chennai.

Eligibility Criteria

A candidate (10+2+3) should have secured a minimum of the following in their UG marks OC 50% BC 45% MBC 43% SC/ST 40%

Handicapped 40% PG qualification with 50% marks alone will be considered for Economics, Commerce, Political Science, and Home Science.

A candidate who has done their U.G degree in Applied Chemistry Biochemistry Applied Physics Environmental Science &Micro Biology can apply for chemistry, Physics&Biology respectively as optional Subjects.

Admission Details

Admission Shall be Made on merit on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of the state government/U.T. Administration and the university.
