Hey Amit!

Both the colleges are good in their own ways. But i am going to tell you the factors in which any of the two colleges has an upper hand.

Look , you should go for Sinhgad college of engineering , if you want to enjoy a chilled out life. If you are ready to pay a little bit more amoumt of fees as the fees is Rs.5 lakhs per year while that of PCCOE is Rs.4.58 lakhs. If you are satisfied with the average placements of RS.3 lakhs per annum.

And you should go for PCCOE, if you are an academic person and you just want to focus on your academics and career. If you want a placement of Rs.4 lakhs per annum . If you have no issue with your campus size to be too less.

Well , you can compare both the colleges using the following link;

Hello Amit,

PCCOE is better than Dy patil college of engineering in terms of placement and quality of teaching.

Placement at PCCOE:

About 80-100% of students get placed every year. It is a well-reputed college of Pune University for its discipline and academic records. The college has an interaction with many brand companies like Mercedes Benz, L&T etc. Most frequently visiting companies for E&TC branch are KPIT, L&T, Capgemini, and they offer an average salary package of 3.5 LPA.

In PCCOE, the teachers are focused on completing the syllabus. They are helpful and understanding.

In terms of infrastructure , campus and hostel, mess, DY patil college of engineering is better since it is costlier in admission as well as hostel fees.

Hope this helps.

GOOD LUCK!!!

But still you can get admission with non core branches like civil engineering electronic and telecommunication engineering second shift .
As computer science branch is one of the core branches so it has high cutoffs for the candidates to get admission.

Hey!

The teachers have an accent of marathi language while speaking. But they generally use english or hindi language to teach. Sometimes , some proper marathi faculty mix some marathi words in betwwen but you can still understand what they mean.

You will find many  marathi teachers and students communicating to each other in marathi only.

Do not worry , language is not going to be an issue for you in PCCOE as the faculty is understanding and helpful .

Hope it helps!
