Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate program recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and offered by the Rajasthan Technical University, Kota.

ME is measured to be the most varied amongst the engineering fields, Mechanical Engineering embraces areas such as automotive systems, combustion engineering, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, control of dynamic systems, design of mechanical systems, manufacturing processes and systems, tribology, materials behavior and processing etc. In other words, Mechanical Engineers design materials, machines and other sub-systems to perform an intended function. They approximately deal with issues related to energy conversion, interfacing mechanical components with other sub-systems, interfacing man and machine, and the control of the different sub-systems.


Eligibility Criteria

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together

College Infrastructure

The College has good labs. All the necessary equipment are available for experimental purposes. The library has adequate book resources. e-library is also present for Smart learning. Mess food is available for hostelers, but just like every hostel mess, it sometimes lacks taste. Although, Canteen is present, having a variety of snacks available.
