The college provides Hostel facility to the Boys students. The Hostel Rooms are well ventilated and are well furnished with attached bathrooms. A proper housekeeping facility, telephone facility, Mess and other amenities are available in the Boys Hostel.

Prakasam Engineering College, Prakasam provides Hostel facility to the Girls Students. The Hostel Rooms are well furnished and are well ventilated. Various facilities such as Housekeeping facility, Mess facility, Telephone facility are available in the Girls Hostel. 

The college provides First Aid facility and other medical assistance to the staff members and the students during the time of medical emergency. 

The college has a Gym which is well equipped with all the modern exercise equipment and machines. 

Prakasam Engineering College has a Library which has a rich collection of Books, National and International Journals, Magazines, Periodicals and Audio Video materials. The college Library is computerised. The duplex Library is fully furnished and the Reading Halls has a seating capacity of approximately 200 students. The college Library maintains a separate Book Bank collection exclusively for the meritorious students.

PEC Prakasam has a well equipped Computer Labs and Server Room with the latest software and hardware which provides computing facilities to the students. The Labs consist of multiple high end PCs running Microsoft Windows 2k/XP as well as Linux with dual boot option on top of Intel Core 2 Duo processors and matching supporting hardware and peripherals. Three servers are available in the Server Room. The entire Computer Labs are connected by a high speed switched Ethernet network. 

The college has a Canteen which serves healthy and nutritious snacks and food to the staff members and the students at a reasonable price.
