Presidency College Chennai provides facilities for hostel accommodation for both boys and girls. The hostels are spacious, safe and secured with a cordial environment and surrounded by pleasant landscapes. A hygienic kitchen has been provided in each hostel with large dining halls. The rooms are well furnished.college has ladies hostels and boys hostel.Both the hostels have round the clock Wi-Fi connectivity and medical facility. Proper hygienic condition and strict supervision is maintained throughout.

It is one of the great institutions which provides UG program at very low cost and it provides education to many backward and challenged people. Brilliant scientists like CV Raman & Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar and many more passed out from this very college!

The college is located exactly opposite to the marina beach but the infrastructure of the college is dull. It is said that the labs are not updated and are not equipped with recent instruments and apparatus.

The professors are very experienced, keen , and teach beautifully. Also they are very strict, and disciplined. Internal exams and assignments are taken seriously and sincere feedbacks are given. Its NIRF rank 2019 is 5.

The median package for MCA program is about Rs.1.56 to 2 lakhs after campus placement.

The application form for all the courses in MCC, Ethiraj college, and Presidency college will be available online. The application form has not been yet issued by the college online. Once the Tamilnadu state board class 12th results published, it expected that the application form will be available in the respective college website.
