PIGCE Nagpur Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

Priyadarshini Indira Gandhi College of Engineering is one of Nagpur's prime institutions offering students various engineering branches. The students are admitted merit-based, and capable and deserving minds are selected. Entrance exams accepted from the college mostly include scores received from two: JEE Main entrance and MHT CET. All these entrance tests act as avenues for aspiring engineers seeking admission at the college.

The admissions process coincides with the academic calendar because most applications would be available ahead of the scheduled date of a particular academic session. The exams for JEE Main are also held at multiple dates in various sessions during an academic year, whereas MHT CET is always held in the month of April, and it has scheduled for the PCB group exam on 9th of April, 2025, among others. Application Process 

The process of admission in PIGCE Nagpur is given below:

1. Appear for JEE Main or MHT CET: A candidate must appear for any entrance and obtain a valid score for the same.

2. Check Eligibility: Check the basic eligibility criteria, that is, whether the candidate requires the relevant subjects in 10+2 and if the minimum marks required by the college are there.

3. Filing up the online application: After the declaration of an opening of the application window, submit application forms either directly from the colleges' official website or through any centralized admission portals for engineering colleges in Maharashtra.

 4. Getting all documents prepared: Gather all the documents a person needs, most importantly:

• Mark sheet for 10th and 12th
• score card for either JEE Mains or MHT CET
• any domicile certificate available
• any Category certificate available
• recently clicked passport-size photographs
• Any other documents as the college may call

5. Counseling process: attend counseling process if any to be conducted by admission authority of State engineering colleges,

6. Seat allotment: After allotting the seat in PIGCE, Nagpur Confirm in the allotted seat within given timeframe.

7. Document verification: Report as scheduled by the College administration for Physical verification of document,

8. Payment of Fees : Finally payment and completion of formalities and joining the Institution.

9. Orientation: Start their college's orientation process, which familiarizes the students with the place and the academic requirements.

B.E. (Bachelor of Engineering): PIGCE Nagpur offers five full-time B.E. programs:

Admission to the above programs is strictly on the basis of the performance of the candidate in either JEE Main or MHT CET. Total intake for all courses is 859 students and the distribution across different specializations is balanced. All the above programs are structured as four-year full-time courses providing comprehensive technical education in their respective fields.
