Quaid-E-Millath Government College for Women, Chennai Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college provides a well-furnished girls hostel with all the necessary facilities like electricity, water, and internet for the comfortable stay of students. The hostels are managed by the Inn Keeper and Assistant Inn Keeper. 

The college has health center with first aid facility for the students.

The college provides state-of-the-art library facilities to students with a range of 73,000 books wide range of periodicals and journals. The ’Digital Library’ concept has been initiated in the college library with 10 computer terminals

The college has a vast playground and facilities for indoor and outdoor sports within the campus. The sports facilities encourage students to participate in various tournaments and sports events. 

The college provides a computer lab facility with a sufficient number of computer terminals with internet access.  The computer lab facility can be availed both by the students and faculty members.

The college provides cafeteria facilities to the students, faculty and staff members. The cafeteria serves clean and healthy food at a reasonable rate.

The college has a spacious auditorium with facilities for audio-visual aids on the campus. The auditorium is used to conduct conferences, guest lectures, workshops and cultural programmes.

The Alumni termed as the Old Students Association functions with a President, a Secretary and a Treasurer. Old students should have attended for a minimum period of one year to become a member. Life-time membership fee is Rs. 100.

Quaid-E-Millath Government College for Women provides well-equipped laboratories and a computer lab facility for students and staff. The college also has a language lab which is used for exposing the students to the English language.
