    Nice college for pharmacy

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

    a. Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Pharmacy had adequate infrastructure to support pharmaceutical education and practical training. b. The classrooms were spacious and equipped with basic teaching aids like projectors and blackboards. The laboratories were well-maintained and stocked with essential instruments and chemicals for conducting experiments in pharmacology, pharmaceutics, and medicinal chemistry. The library housed a good collection of textbooks, journals, and research papers, providing ample academic resources. The campus also had recreational spaces and a small cafeteria. c. Hostel facilities were available, offering clean and comfortable living spaces. The mess served hygienic food, though the variety was limited.

    Academics

    a. I pursued BPharm because of my interest in drug development and the healthcare industry. The faculty were knowledgeable and provided a solid foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects of pharmacy. b. The curriculum was comprehensive and covered core subjects like pharmacology, pharmaceutical chemistry, and pharmacognosy. However, it could have included more recent advancements in pharmaceutical technology. It provided a good foundation but required additional effort to be fully job-ready.

    Placements

    a. Placement opportunities were moderate, with a few pharmaceutical companies and healthcare organizations visiting the campus. b. A decent percentage of students secured roles in areas like quality control, production, and marketing in pharmaceutical companies. Some students opted for higher studies or government exams. The highest packages were offered in roles related to clinical research and regulatory affairs. c. The college provided basic placement assistance, but students often had to rely on their own efforts to secure the best opportunities.

    Value for Money

    a. The course fee was affordable, approximately ₹50,000-70,000 per year, making it an economical option for a professional pharmacy program. b. Considering the education, infrastructure, and career prospects, the program offered reasonable value for money. However, additional certifications or higher studies were often necessary to enhance career opportunities.

    Campus Life

    a. The campus was modest but functional, with a focus on academics. Extracurricular activities were limited, though students occasionally organized cultural and sports events. b. The student community was friendly and supportive, and the faculty were approachable and helpful. The support staff ensured smooth day-to-day operations. The campus was located in a safe area, with basic medical facilities and emergency services available.
