The college Sikshanamandira is a residential institution, its hostel plays an important part in its training Programme. The college and the hostel form a single unit, though both function autonomously. The college has a Vidyarthi-Vrata Homa, Bhatrivarana, Republic Day Celebration, Independence Day Celebration, Saraswati Puja, Saradotsava, Reunion of Ex-Students (organized by the Alumni Association), Exhibition, National Youth Day Celebration, Rabindra Jayanti, Netaji's Birthday Celebration, Seminars, symposiums, and Workshops are organized in the college throughout the year. Students take part in those programs apart from their regular academic experiences. Students get exposure vividly due to various project-related activities.
