The Ranga Raya Medical College, Kakinada (RRMC) is one of the eminent colleges under Dr.YSR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada for medical aspirants. For those interested in medicine, RRMC has MBBS, MD, MS, DM, M.Ch and a plethora of other diploma courses to offer. It has a well-known admission process through which only the best and most deserving candidates are chosen for the courses. The admission process for RRMC is mainly based on all India entrance tests. Admission into MBBS course, for instance, comes under the purview of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG). The MD and MS programs are then based on NEET PG scores, while the super-specialty courses like DM and M.Ch are based on NEET SS rankings. The academic year at RRMC normally starts in August-September, with the commencement of admission months before.
For NEET UG, the status quo is such that applications commence in February and end in March. NEET PG applications could possibly be taken in January-February, and for NEET SS, the applications are open in February-March. For almost all the programs, eligibility criteria may vary. Basic eligibility for admission into the MBBS program is to have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as core subjects with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks (40% in the case of SC/ST/OBC candidates). Entry into postgraduate courses would thus require candidates to have an MBBS degree from an institution recognized by the government and a completion of an internship.

Degree wise Admission Process
MBBS: Every year, RRMC offers 250 MBBS seats for the indented course. Admission is done on the basis of NEET UG rank. Generally, the application process opens in February, concluding towards the end of March. A candidate must complete 10+2 with PCB subjects and meet the minimum percentage criteria.
MD/MS: Various MD and MS programs admitting different capacity are offered in the college. Popular of them include MD General Medicine (20), MD Anaesthesiology (18), MS General Surgery (18), and MS Obstetrics and Gynaecology (15). All admissions are based on rankings obtained through NEET PG. Candidates must have successfully completed their MBBS and internship for eligibility.
DM/M.Ch: The super-specialty courses offered by RRMC for admissions are DM Neonatology (1 seat) and M.Ch Neuro Surgery (2 seats). The admissions are basing on the rankings obtained through NEET SS. The candidates must finish their MD/MS in concerned areas for eligibility.
Diploma Courses: The college also has some diploma programs such as Diploma in Medical Lab Technician and Diploma in Medical Imaging Technology. The admission processes for these courses may differ; therefore, the candidates have to check with the college to learn about specific requirements.
BSMLT: This program is offered at RRMC with 30 seats. It is Bachelor of Science in Medical Lab Technology (BSMLT). The details for admission for this course should be confirmed with the college.o

As of now its tough to say because the cutoff changes every year due to many factors like total students appearing for exams,difficulty level of paper etc.but based on previous year analysis the cutoffs are mentioned,considering state quota as you did not mention your category,considering it to be general category,you need minimum of 595-600+to fetch seat in rangaraya medical college. target high and try to reach so that you don't have to worry about if u fetch the seat or not because in 2020 the cutoff rose by atleast 30-40+marks causing a difference in ranks by thousands.so prepare well.for more information regarding cutoffs refer to:
