Ratnam Institute of Pharmacy, Muthukur Admission Process

Ratnam Institute of Pharmacy at Muthukur, is one of Andhra Pradesh's prestige colleges for pharmacy learning. The admissions at Ratnam Institute of Pharmacy aim at choosing students who are worthy and goal-driven with regard to pursuing various pharmacy programs. The undergraduate admissions basically depend on the scores in the Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET). For postgraduates, the admissions are primarily on the basis of Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP PGECET). This certainly brings equity to the opportunities for every student aspiring to join the pharmacy stream.

Usually, classes commence in the months of August or September, sometimes months after occasional commencement of the admissions. Since actual dates do vary every year, it is advisable for any candidate looking forward to applying to stay updated on the application dates, examination schedule, and results on the official sites of AP EAMCET and AP PGECET. The eligibility for approval under undergraduate admission programs shall include successful completion of the 10+2 level, with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology being considered as compulsory subjects.

APPLICATION PROCESS

Ratnam Institute of Pharmacy grants admissions in different programs according to the application process:

For the B.Pharma and Pharm.D programs:

  1. Candidates must register and appear for the AP EAMCET test.
  2. Secure a valid score by qualifying in AP EAMCET.
  3. Participate in the counselling process organized by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE).
  4. During counselling, choose Ratnam Institute of Pharmacy and the preferred course. 
  5. If a seat is allotted, report to the institute for document verification and admission formalities.

For M.Pharma Programs:

  1. Register and appear for the AP PGECET examination.
  2. Qualify AP PGECET with a valid score.
  3. Participate in the counselling process for postgraduate admissions.
  4. Select Ratnam Institute of Pharmacy and the preferred M.Pharma specialization during counselling.
  5. If allotted a seat, complete the admission process at the institute.

For Pharm.D Post Baccalaureate:

  1. Check the institute's website or contact the admissions office for specific application procedures.
  2. Submit the application form along with required documents and application fee.
  3. Appear for any additional tests or interviews as required by the institute.

ADMISSION PROCESS IS BASED ON DEGREE WISE

B.Pharma: The B.Pharma program at Ratnam Institute of Pharmacy has an approved intake of 100 students. Admission is based on AP EAMCET scores. Candidates who have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology are eligible to apply.

M.Pharma: The institute provides M.Pharma programs in various specializations, namely Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, and Pharmacy Practice. Each specialization has an approved intake of 15 students. Admissions are based on scores obtained in the AP PGECET. Potential candidates must hold a B.Pharma degree from a recognized university.

Pharm.D: The Pharm.D program has an authorized intake of 30 students. Admission will likely be based on the AP EAMCET scores, as was the case with the B.Pharma program. Eligible candidates should complete their 10+2 with the prescribed subjects.

Pharm.D Post Baccalaureate: The course is approved for 10 students. It is meant for candidates who have completed their B.Pharma degree. Admission criteria may include academic performance in B.Pharma and possibly an entrance examination or interview.

The documents required for admissions generally include, but are not restricted to:

  • Passport-size photographs
  • 10th and 12th mark sheets and certificates
  • B.Pharma degree certificate and mark sheets (for M.Pharma and Pharm.D Post Baccalaureate)
  • AP EAMCET/AP PGECET score card
  • Transfer certificate
  • Migration certificate (if applicable)
  • Caste certificate (if applicable)
  • Income certificate (if applicable)
  • Aadhar card
  • Any other relevant certificates as specified by the institute.

The foundation for Pharm D Admission 2022 is an admission test. To apply to the best Pharm D institutions in India, candidates can take university-level and national entrance examinations like MET, NIMSEE, and GPAT.

Starting on December 9, 2021, the registration procedure for the MET to apply for admission to the Pharm D programme at MAHE has already commenced. Candidates have till April 2022 to apply. Pharm D admission for 2022 will begin at several colleges in January or February of that year.

A six-year doctoral-level pharmacy programme is known as Pharm D. Candidates may sign up for this course as soon as they pass their 12th grade.
