Rishi Bankim Chandra Evening College, Naihati Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has a health unit that caters to the immediate and emergent needs of the students and the staff. All admitted students of this college become members of the Students Health Home (HQ at Moulali, Kolkata) and can avail of advanced medical facilities.

The College Library of the Rishi Bankim Chandra Evening College named „RISHI BANKIM LIBRARY‟ is now located on the 2nd floor of the new building „B-Block‟. The computerized library of the college has a rich collection of books (50,000 approx) titles as of 31.05.2022 and adds nearly 1000 new titles every year. The RBL is computerized (Automated) through the Integrated Library Management software KOHA (Customized) with a database of around 18,000 printed books.

Throughout the year different Games and Sports are organized by the students union and college. Our college team participates in different inter-college and University tournaments on different games like „Kabadi‟, „Football‟, „Athletics‟, „Cricket‟, „Chess‟, etc organized by the Universities.

The college has a Computer Centre of the College, which is located on the second floor of the college building. The Centre was established to impart computer education to the students of this college. It is run by a committee formed by the Governing Body of the college. The Centre offers ICT Classes to the students of the Commerce, Physics and Mathematics Departments. The Centre also comes in handy in training students of regular degree courses, B. Com (Honours and General), B. Sc Geography (Honours) having practical papers in Information Technology, C+ System and Geography Information System. Students from Film Studies are also allowed. The Computer Centre (EVNET) is equipped with internet facilities offering free access to students, teachers and staff. Extensive use of the facility is being made for library materials and communication (email and fax).  

The college has an alumni association of the college plays an active role in the development of the institution. They organize seminars; publish journals and conduct programs for the benefit of past and present students.

The college has a fully furnished 150-seater auditorium and conference hall.

The college has a departmental-based laboratories facility for the students.

There are canteens for the students who may have refreshments there.

The college has a Gym facility for the students.
