RPS Degree College, Mahendergarh Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The Campus has separate hostel facilities for boys with hostel warden in each hostel to supervise day by day management. The hostel is quite spacious and comfortable with well  furnished, self-contained and fully maintained rooms. All the rooms have been designed to provide adequate moving space and ample air and light. All the rooms come with basic amenities like bed,table,chair,small cupboard and electronics fitting. A recreation hall with facilities for indoor games like Chess, Carom encourage students to make good use of their leisure time.

A well-stocked Library has been established in the heart of college campus for the benefits of students and staff. The state-of-the-art Central Library is housed in a three-storey building. Library remains open on all working days from 9 A.M. to 5 P.M. Books are issued / returned from 9 AM to 3 PM.

The college has departmental based laboratories facility for the students.

The college has seminar halls with all adequate required facilities.

The College Canteen is highly hygienic and it caters to the needs of healthy and nutritious eatables.

The college has is well connected from its ISP (Internet Service Provider) via a leased optical fiber cable carrying a data rate of 8 Mbps. Internet facility is provided on the whole campus, labs, and hostels using wired and Wi-Fi techniques round the clock.

The college has a Medical first aid and Ambulance facility is also available to the students to take care of. These facts clearly indicate the healthy atmosphere of the college. Regular services of regular medical practitioners (male and female) have been hired for the students.

The institute is equipped with sophisticated computer labs with more than 250 high quality Dual Core 2.70 GHz machines from HCL. Printers and scanners are provided in each and every lab and each computer is connected with high speed dedicated 2 mbps 1:1 bandwidth. All computer labs are connected with 24 Hrs uninterrupted power supply.

The college has a small Gym facility that is also provided to the students.

The Institute has an excellent facilities for the following types of activities.

Indoor Games:- Table-Tennis, Chess and carrom.

Out Door Games:-Cricket, Football, Throw ball, Basket Ball, Badminton.

The college has an ATM facility from Oriental Bank of Commerce is provided to the students and all teaching and non-teaching staff of RPS in the premises of RPS GOI, Balana.

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.

The Institutes have a big fleet of more than 42 buses plying up to radius of 80km. The bus facility apart from the students has been also given to the faculty members and other staff from all the nearby cities and towns in very nominal charges.

The college has an alumni association of colleges that is registered and functional. The alumni association significantly contributes to the development of the college by providing valuable suggestions. The alumni meet was held in December 2018. The financial contribution of the rupees 2,14,400 was collected as the registration fees. 2144 alumni registered themselves and rupees 100 per head was collected. The alumni association is in regular touch with college authorities. The current students of the college get a chance to interact with the pass out students in the alumni meet.

The college has Parking is available for students and staff members near the college entrance gate so that the college campus remains free from any type of pollution.

The college has infrastructure including books, periodicals, journals, e-journals, internet, stationery, and photocopy facilities are available on the campus for faculty and students. The faculty of the college contributes a substantial number of research papers in various national and international journals.
