Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering is 4-years full-time undergraduate engineering programme recognised by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE, New Delhi) and offered by Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University (CSVTU), Bhilai (C.G.). Electrical and electronics engineering is a branch of science which deals with the applications of electricity, electronics, and electromagnetism. The course diversifies into various fields like the multimedia programmer, technical sales engineer, and project manager. It focuses on giving students practical training to work in laboratories, project and group work. These engineers are responsible for designing, developing and testing electrical equipment.

Admission Details

CG Quota - Admission is carried out through Online Counselling being conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Govt. of Chhattisgarh. The Counselling is based on the Marks obtained in 10+2 and Score obtained in the Pre Engineering Test (PET) conducted by the State Govt.
Other State Quota - The Admission is carried out through Online Counselling being conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Govt. of Chhattisgarh. The Counselling is based on the Marks obtained in 10+2 and Score obtained in the Joint Entrance Examination - Main (JEE Main) at National Level.
Management Quota - The Admission is carried out internally at the Institute / College Level. Students from Chhattisgarh State, as well as Outside State, are eligible for Admission based on the Marks obtained in 10+2 and Score obtained in Pre Engineering Test (PET) / Joint Entrance Examination - Main (JEE Main).

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of this college is very good and there are different blocks for different courses and departments. This college also have library, which has access to many books. It also has access to e-library, and Wi-Fi is also available with nice connection speed. This college provides a hostel for both boys and girls separately It has four-seater, three-seater, and two-seater rooms, which is also available. In hostel canteen, it serves only vegetarian food; no non-vegetarian meals are being provided, Medical facilities is also available, and sports and games are conducted timely.

College Infrastructure

Known for its impressive infrastructure, this college provides an excellent learning environment. The classrooms are equipped with smart boards and interactive learning tools. The medical center on campus is well-staffed and provides comprehensive healthcare services. The student residences are comfortable, with common areas that foster a sense of community.

It was a great experience studying in this College.

College Infrastructure

I am not much aware of current situation as I am from 2011-2015 batch. So, my descriptions and ratings will be based on the years I had spent in the college. The college was very clean and food was hygienic. WiFi speed was disheartening. The equipments in the laboratories were not up to the mark and not sufficient. Library was amazing and well maintained. Benches in the classrooms needed upgradation as they gave back and neck pain. Better sports ground and equipments were required.
