Saffron College in Fatehgarh Sahib is a girls-only institution. Application Process

1. Application form: Interested female candidates can obtain the application form from the college campus or download it from the official website.

2. Application filling: Fill the application form perfectly, filling in all required fields, ensuring that all personal information and academic details mentioned are true and correct.

3. Prepare necessary documents: Prepare the required documents which may include:

• Class 10 and 12 mark sheets and certificates
• Character certificate from the institution last attended.
• Migration certificate, if applicable.
• Passport-sized photographs
• Any other relevant certificates/documents as stipulated by the college.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.A.: Saffron College offers B.A. with an intake capacity of 80 seats. Admission to this B.A. is seemingly on merit based on the candidate's performance in 10+2 relevant subjects in the humanities stream.

B.Com and B.Com (Hons): Both courses of Regular B.Com and B.Com (Hons) have a total of 60 seats. Candidates seeking admission to these commerce courses should have completed their 10+2 commerce or equivalent qualification.

BCA: Admission to the Bachelor of Computer Applications program maintains an admission strength of 50. Basis for Admission shall include good background in Mathematics and Computer Science at the 10+2 level.

BBA: The Bachelor of Business Administration  program also reserves an intake of 50 seats. Candidates with good academic records in the 10+2 examination, especially about business studies, would be given preference.

B.Sc Home Science: This course having an intake of 50 seats is for students wanting to create a career in Home Science and related fields.

B.Sc Fashion Technology: with 50 seats available for admission, this program is targeted to students enthusiastic about fashion and design. Admissions could be based on either academic performance or creative ability.

M.Com: The college has a postgraduate program for Commerce with an intake of 40 seats. Admission is usually based on performance at the undergraduate level by the candidate in Commerce or a related field.
