Sagar Institute of Technology, Hyderabad Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

Sagar Institute of Technology (SITECH), Hyderabad, welcomed its first batch of students, It is very democratic and humane in its admission policies into the various engineering and management programs. The All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)-accredited institute offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma courses in several disciplines. Admission into SITECH is through the state-level entrance examinations, which remain the fairest and most competitive mode of candidate selection. The admission cycle at SITECH largely follows the academic calendar of the Telangana state universities. For undergraduate programs, admission is given after the declaration of results for TS EAMCET, usually held within the May-June period. 

For the B.Tech programs, candidate eligibility requires only the completion of 10+2 education, with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics being the core subjects. Candidates for admission have to qualify for the TS EAMCET exam organized every year by the Government of Telangana State. The institute offers a total of 300 B.Tech seats, spread across five specializations. Eligibility for the M.Tech programs is based on scores obtained by candidates in the TS PGECET, while the candidates seeking admission into the MBA programs will be shortlisted based on their performance in the TSICET.

Application Process

Sagar Institute of Technology, Hyderabad, has an application process that varies from one program to another:

For B.Tech programs:
1. Sit for the TS EAMCET examination.
2. Qualify with a valid TS EAMCET score.
3. Attend centralized counseling conducted by the TSCHE (Telangana State Council of Higher Education).
4. Choose SITECH and the desired B.Tech specialization in counseling.
5. If a seat is allotted, then the candidate will report to SITECH for document verification and admission.

For M.Tech programs:
1. Appear for TS PGECET examination.
2. Qualify with a valid TS PGECET score.
3. Participate in the centralized counseling for M.Tech admissions.
4. Select SITECH and the preferred M.Tech specialization during counseling.
5. Complete the admission process for the allotted seat at the institute.

For the MBA program:
1. Appear for TSICET examination.
2. Qualify with a valid TSICET score.
3. Participate in the centralized counseling process for MBA admissions.
4. Choose SITECH during counseling.
5. If selected, report to the institute for further admission process.

For the Diploma in Mechanical Engineering:
1. Apply directly to the institute or through the state diploma admission process.
2. Meet the eligibility criteria set by the institute for diploma programs.
3. Follow the selection process prescribed by SITECH.

Degree-Wise Admission Process

B.Tech: SITECH offers in all five B.Tech specializations, covering an intake of 300 students. Admissions are on the basis of TS EAMCET scores, and the programs include Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering, each program with 60 intake. The fee for the B.Tech programs is about Rs124,000.

M.Tech: Admission is based on TS PGECET for the M.Tech programs with specializations in VLSI and Embedded Systems Design, and CAD/CAM. Total M.Tech intake is 36 seats: 18 for each specialization.

MBA: An MBA program containing 60 seats is offered. Admission into the program is based on the TSICET score. This program emphasizes different management specializations that groom students into potential management leaders.

Diploma: A Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is available with 60 seats. The total fee for the diploma program is about Rs. 31,000.

The general documents required for admission are:
