3. Normally, the application form to be submitted for seeking admission is available for download at the institute's website or could be collected at the admission office.

4. The forms submitted along with the documents include the following:

  • Caste certificate, if any
  • Domicile certificate, in case required
  • Recent passport-size photographs

5. Payment of application fee as determined by the institute.

6. Selection of applications in the management quota would be done based on merit criteria determined by the board.

7. The candidate may be required to appear at the institute's office for document verification and confirmation of admission.

8. After the selection, a candidate has to pay the demanded fees and also complete the remaining admission formalities within the timeframe.

Degree wise Admission Proces

Diploma in Mining Engineering: Intake for this program is approved at 30 seats. Admission is made through the counseling process of the Directorate of Technical Education, Karnataka. In addition, 33% of the total sanctioned intake is filled up through management quota based on merit criteria set by the board.

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering: This programme takes 30 intake seats. This programme follows the admission procedure as that of Mining Engineering. All the seats are filled by DTE counseling and management quota.

Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering: The course offers 30 seats, following the usual admission procedure with DTE counseling and management quota admissions.

Diploma in Electrical Engineering: The institute admits 30 students to this program through the DTE counseling process and management quota.

Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering: This course has 30 approved seats, and thus follows the same admission pattern as other diploma courses of the institute.
