Degree wise Admission Process

BDS: The Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree course at SJDC has an approved intake of 100 seats. Admission to the BDS course is done on the merit of performance in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) by the candidate. NEET is conducted once a year at the national level. The candidate must qualify in NEET to become eligible for admission into the BDS course at SJDC.

MDS: Saint Joseph Dental College offers various Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) courses in a number of specializations. The admission in MDS courses is done based on the Government of India NEET MDS examination. SJDC offers the following MDS specializations:

  • MDS Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics (6 seats)
  • MDS Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry (5 seats)
  • MDS Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics (5 seats)
  • MDS Periodontology (3 seats)
  • MDS Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (3 seats)
  • MDS Prosthodontics and Crown and Bridge (3 seats)
  • MDS Oral Pathology (3 seats)
  • MDS Oral Medicine and Radiology (3 seats)

For all MDS courses, the candidates must have completed their BDS degree and passed the NEET MDS exam. There are also management seats in the college for which interested candidates can directly contact the institution.
