Sana Engineering College, Kodad Admission Process

Sana Engineering College (SEC), Kodad, is a college approved by AICTE offering various courses in engineering and management. There is a merit admission process implemented in the various undergraduate and postgraduate courses run by the college. SEC considers scores of various entrance tests for various courses for providing a merit-based and competitive selection process.

The process of admission usually starts during the months leading up to the academic year that begins sometime around August-September. Applicants are advised to visit the official SEC website for latest information regarding application deadlines as well as key dates.

For B.E. engineering programs, SEC mainly looks at the TS EAMCET (Telangana State Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test) ranks. The test is typically held in May, and the results are declared in June. The minimum requirement for B.Tech courses is passing 10+2 with Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics as mandatory subjects. For admission to an MBA, marks of TSICET are given consideration by SEC. TSICET examination takes place usually during the month of May, and results are declared in June. Postgraduates in any stream can secure admission in the course of MBA.

Application Process

Application process of Sana Engineering College is different depending upon the program:

For B.Tech programs:

For MBA course:

1. Clear TSICET exam.
2. Appear for the MBA admission counseling process in Telangana.
3. Select SEC at the time of counseling if eligible.
4. Report to the college for document verification and admission.

For Diploma courses:

1. Secure TS POLYCET exam.
2. Report to the diploma admission counseling procedure.
3. Select SEC and desired diploma course.
4. Complete the admission process at the college.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Tech: SEC provides 12 B.Tech programs with a total of 1,440 seats. It accepts students based on TS EAMCET ranks. Specializations in Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Biotechnology, Computer Science and Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Internet of Things, Data Science, and Cyber Security are provided by the college. Intake per course is 120 seats.

M.Tech: The college offers 7 specializations in M.Tech, such as Computer Science and Engineering, VLSI and Embedded Systems, Computer Aided Structural Engineering, Electrical Power Systems, Power Electronics, Internet of Things, and Mechatronics. The admissions are based on TS PGECET scores. Intake ranges from 18 to 30 seats per specialisation.

MBA: SEC provides general MBA with 60 seats and Integrated MBA with 60 seats. Admission is on TSICET score basis.

Diploma: Diploma courses are offered by the college in Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering each of 60 intakes. Admission is on the basis of TS POLYCET scores.

The documents required at the time of admission are normally:

  • Entrance exam score card (TS EAMCET/TS PGECET/TSICET/TS POLYCET as the case may be)
  • Mark sheets and certificates of class 10th and 12th
  • Mark sheets and certificates of degree (for postgraduate courses)
