Sant Baba Attar Singh Government Polytechnic College, Badbar Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college institutional library was established in 2013. It has a good collection of textbooks and reference books on the subject of civil engineering, mechanical engineering, computer engineering, electronics, and electrical engineering. Besides these books, our library is also enriched with some periodicals also. We have subscribed to magazines, journals related to different topics and subjects and there are 10 magazines and 4 journals coming in our library. We have also a good collection of previous years' question papers, which help the students during the time of examination. Automation of our college library has also been done by installing library software named E- Granthalya. Issue-return of books is also done by this software. Our library has a user-friendly environment and we always try to satisfy the needs of our users.

The college has Workshops are the backbone of any engineering college. SBAS GPC has a huge workshop that consists of a machine/turning shop, welding shop, carpentry shop, foundry shop, and electric shop, etc. These workshops have a valuable infrastructure where students learn their manufacturing skills and prepare their projects in these workshops themselves.  

The college has a badminton court, Kabaddi ground, Kho-Kho Ground and two volleyball grounds. Each year college sports teams participate in PTIS games and perform well. Last year, college Kabaddi and Kho-Kho teams had scored 2nd and 3rd position respectively in PTIS games. Students do sports daily under “students centered activities” and it is part of the course curriculum to refresh their minds.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.
