Hi Rishabh,
MCAT exam does not have any eligibility criteria as such. It is an international level test for students who aspire to take up professional studies related to healthcare abroad. You can visit the link MCAT eligibility criteria for detailed information. However, you should also keep in mind that CBSE, from 2018, has mandated that students willing to pursue medicine abroad are also required to obtain the qualifying percentile in the NEET UG exam.
Hi Venkata,
Thanks for your query. Each university formulates their own admission criteria. After you qualify MCAT with decent scores, you need to meet the other requirements of respective colleges. You need to appear and qualify in any one of the English proficiency tests; either IELTS or TOEFL. For undergraduate programmes, you should obtain a minimum score of 6.5 in IELTS. In case of TOEFL exam, the score should be minimum 80 for undergraduate. Canada, as a country, has set high academic standards as compared to other countries It follows rigorous quality in education, especially in the medical domain. Apparently, whoever gets admission to study MBBS in this country earn high-quality teaching, exposure and practical training.
Some of the renowned Medical colleges in Canada for International students-
University of Waterloo
University of Alberta
University of Calgary
University of Victoria
University of Manitoba
The average cost of studying medicine in Canada would be around C$25,000 and C$35,000 per year, which covers both tuition fee and living expenses. Cost of living is affordable as compared to other countries. However, you can opt for both Government or Private scholarships which are made available to international students.

Hello aspirant,
Homeopathy is not fully recognized in the United States officially. You won't work at a hospital or have the privileges of MD or DO physicians. In the United States, this will take 2-3 years, and to get in, you will have to take the MCAT or GRE as well as have a college degree before you start. Hope this will be helpful.
Good Luck!
Hey !
The eligibility criteria for MCAT exam is;
All international applicants need to register for MCAT only for the health professional institutes as already mentioned before like any other domestic students. The aspirants will have to provide a statement verifying their intention to apply to a health professions school. It is only after receiving the same, the candidates would be considered eligible for MCAT 2019
A candidate has to obtain special permission from the officials to register for the MCAT 2019 exam if he/she is not applying to a health professions school, or currently, enrolled as a medical student other than MBBS degree.
As per the MCAT eligibility criteria 2019, if an aspirant holds an MBBS degree or currently pursuing an MBBS programme he/she will be eligible to undergo the registration process of MCAT 2019 without seeking any special permission from the AAMC.
AAMC, the conducting authority of MCAT 2019, will not accept international academic transcripts. Students need to submit the required academic scores separately to the medical institute they are applying to.
International students have to complete at least a four years undergraduate degree for admission to medical colleges in the USA.
For special permission, candidates can send an e-mail request to AAMC (Association of American Medical Colleges), stating the reasons to take the exam.
And since you are pursuing private MBBS from a college recognised by world directory of medical schools , then you are eligible for MCAT 2019.
Hope it helps!
