ApplyThe training and placement committee of the Sardar Patel College of Engineering Mumbai is responsible for handling all matters related to the recruitment and training of the students. The objective of the SPCE Mumbai placement committee is organising and coordinating industrial visits, internship training and projects of industrial relevance for the students. The training and placement committee carries out individual expert counselling to help the students and students are taught soft skills.
The SPCE Mumbai placement cell is in charge of planning and directing the campus placement programmes. Many companies have visited SPCE Mumbai and recruited its students. The college’s placement record is commendable. In 2018-2019, more than 95% of students secured placements in reputed companies. The highest salary package offered was INR 21 LPA. A lot of guidance and support is provided by management.
Placements are good. There is TPO for placement. Training and mock interviews are happened before actual placement. Different IT and core competencies has been coming on campus for interviews from many years.
Around 30 to 40 companies visit college for placements every year. It includes both core and non core companies. Job opportunities are good in reputed companies like L&T, tata. Average salary is 4.5 lpa. Highest offer being 7 lpa. Around 85% students get placed and other opts for higher studies.Despite having just core subjects SPCE has incredible placement record.
yes, you can take direct admission into 2nd year in electrical engineering. this is the lateral entry process and this depends on whether you clear the admission entrance exam or not. you can also get in through the management quota but clearing the entrance is better. the fees is about 1.6 lakh

I hope you are doing well. Last year the cut off (MHT CET percentile) for OBC category was as follows in round 2 of MHT CET counselling to get admission in the above mentioned colleges was above 95 percentile.
Considering the previous year cut off you do not have chances to get seat in CSE or IT in the preferred institutes. Cut off may increase or decrease depending on factors such as total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc.

You can go for spit it has more options.Sardar Patel College of Engineering was officially started in 1962 and this was the idea of the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. Self-financed engineering courses were added to the institute in 1995. Affiliated to the University of Mumbai, the institute is one of the best engineering colleges in the country and has been providing high-quality education over the years. Even, Placements are pretty good here. The average salary package offered here is 10 LPA, and the highest salary package offered currently is 30 LPA. More than 50 companies hired students from here, and many more companies visit. Infact you can easily get an internship here.
