Degree wise Admission Process

B. E. (Bachelor of Engineering): Varying from Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, and Computer Science and Design to Electronics and Communication Engineering and Instrumentation and Control Engineering. The courses of B.E. available at SVIT are diverse. Admission into all these courses is based on the candidate's performance in relevant entrance examinations as well as on 10+2 scores. Varied intake capacities among these programs exist, ranging from 30–180 seats.

M.E. (Master of Engineering): SVIT has M.E. programs in Information and Cyber Warfare, CAD CAM, Structural Engineering, and Software Engineering. Admission to the above programs is usually based on the candidate's B.E. or B.Tech. degree within that stream. Selection may depend on merit at the undergraduate level and performance in specific graduate entrance exams. The range for intake in M.E. programs varies from 9 to 18 seats from specialization to specialization.

MCA (Master of Computer Applications): Offers the MCA program at SVIT with 60 intakes.
