Devang Patel Institute of Advance Technology and Research (DEPSTAR) is a constituent of CHARUSAT . DEPSTAR is patronized by IPCO Industries, headed by Philanthropist and Industrialist Shri Devang Patel. DEPSTAR has total intake of 300 Seats with Computer Engineering (120 seats), Computer Science & Engineering (120 seats) and Information Technology (60 seats). The average experience of faculties is more than 6 years in Teaching, Industry and Research Domain. The institute is Graded 'A' by NAAC. There are various events held in the institute from time to time. The placement or  recruitment takes place actively in the institute. The recruiters are TATA, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, ICICI Bank, Asian Paints etc.

Whereas, Sarvajanik College of Engineering & Technology(SCET) is a Constituent institute of Sarvajanik University and is ac credited by National Board of Accreditation, New Delhi upto June, 2022. The placement drive is organised every year and many students gets placed in the placement. The recruiters are Birla Copper, Dot Infosys, Asian Paints, Thomson Reuters etc. Various events and festivals are being held in the institute.

It is difficult to predict the exact GUJCET rank because it depends upon too many factors and also you do not mention your category and state region. So I am assuming that you belong to the general category and other state region. According to you, you got 91.61 percentile in GUJCET 2021 then your rank would be around 4000-5000.  There is minimum chance to get admission in Sarvajanik College of Engineering and Technology, Surat in CSE course because according to the previous year,the closing rank of this college for CSE branch is 2989.

About 174companies visited the campus for placement. 106students got placed.Average salary offered was Rs.3.5LPA.Top Recruiters are Thomson Reuters, Atul Ltd, CMC Ltd.

As you have specified you opt for information technology I suggest you AD Patel College because-

For Btech Computer Engineering the college has got a placement percentage of 80%.

Sarvajanik college is better in placement wise in compareto chandu bhai. Average salary package offer in sarvajanik is around 3.6 lakh per annum while in chandu bhai average salary offered is 2.4 lakh per annum.

In sarvajanik college ,the top recruitment company was Tata consultancy services . About 20% student get internship in companies like narola infotech,techesta,web solution..
