Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) is a two-year full-time diploma programme offered by West Bengal Board of Primary Education, Kolkata and approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

Eligibility Criteria

Should pass the H.S (+2) Examination or it's equivalent from any recognized board/council/university with at least 50% marks in the aggregate. They are However relaxation of 5% marks for the applicant belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-Serviceman Categories.
There shall be no lower age limit. The Upper Age limit as of the first day of July of the year of Notification for such admission shall be 35 years for General Category candidates, 40 Years for SC and ST candidates, 38 Years for OBC-A & OBC-B candidates, while for PH-candidate it shall be 45 Years.

Admission Details

Admission Shall be Made on merit on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of the state government/UT Adminstration.
