SBS College of Nursing, Ferozepur Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

SBS College of Nursing, Ferozepur, is one of the elite institutions for nursing education in the Punjab state of India. Therefore, for undergraduate programs, generally, candidates must have completed their 10+2 education with relevant subjects, and qualifying for master courses such as Post Basic B.Sc Nursing is mandatory for candidates with basic nursing qualifications.

Application Process

1. Admissions Announcement: The college announces the start of the admission process through its website or local newspapers.

2. Application Form: Interested candidates can obtain the application form either from the college admission office or download it from the official website.

3. Fill out the Form: The applicant has to duly fill up the application form with correct details about himself/herself and academic standing.

4. Document Submission: Candidates shall submit the following documents along with the duly filled application form:

• 10th and 12th grade mark sheets and certificates
• Character certificate from the last attended institution
• Migration certificate (if any)
• Category certificate (if applicable, while applying under a specific category)
• Latest passport-size photographs

Degree wise Admission Process

SBS College of Nursing, Ferozepur, grants admission to the following four main nursing programs:

B.Sc Nursing: A four-year undergraduate course with an accepted capacity of 50 seats is available for application by candidates who have passed 10+2 with science subjects. Admission would be based on merit, most likely in the qualifying examination.

Post Basic B.Sc Nursing: Open to registered nurses with GNM or other equivalent qualifications, this is a two-year program with an intake of 40 seats. The evaluation would usually be based on merit in the previous nursing course.

GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery): Three-year diploma program with an intake of 60 seats that is open for candidates who passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination. Selection for this program would be mainly on qualification examination merit.

ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwife): This is a two-year certificate program with an approved intake of 50 seats, which welcomes applications from those candidates who have completed their 10+2. Admission will probably be on merit of the qualifying examination.
