The placement record for students at UPES is fairly good. UPES is a well-known and highly respected academic institution, not only in Uttarakhand, but across India.It is a well-recognized brand name. Hello. As per my research, opting CS is far better in every situation. Bharti vidhyapeeth is well known  but again the problem which arises here is that there is a load, and opportunities are good. But performing well and getting a good network is important. Placements are same in both colleges.

But please do consider your interest and loca/in at which you are comfortable with.

Hi Rahul, the upes was a great college once but the condition is deteriorating every day. The campus is awesome and spread around 32 acres. The fees is around 1.5 lakhs per semester but the return is not satisfactory. The Highest package offered was 6lpa for 12 positions in CSE. University has average placement of 3–4 L ,Even all top good product based companies are also not coming for placements,In our time only 3 product based companies came,this is very less as compare to other good private colleges. Coming to NIE Mysore, following are the reasons to choose this college. 80% students will get placed in any one company. If students have good academic+ general skill can get good company. If students is average than he/she can crack select any one company interview.

I would say comparatively NIE Mysore is vetter than UPES.

A very hearty congratulations to you for passing your 12th with good marks. Coming back to your question, for this year UPESEAT indeed canceled the  entrance exam due to the pandemic thus you are required to fill the form in online mode and submit. The college will later upload the merit list based on the marks the students obtained in their class 12th. After the merit list is published the students will be called for councilling in online mode. So rounds as such won't be allocated.its all on the basis of your merit you earned in your 12th class.

University of petroleum and energy studies (UPES) is state university located in uttarakhand approved by UGC.  The university have good excellence in teaching and the infrastructure and the atmosphere is also good. The have a good library and the placement are good in the university.

The minimum placement opportunities for the college would be upto 85%. Numerous students gets placed in many pharma companies and the rest it depends on students skill whether he gets placed or not.

The minimum average salary might range upto 3 to 4 lakh per annum and it may varies with experience.

The average package offered is around 5.34 LPA and Maximum placement is 17 LPA for School of Engineering. There is 94% placement in this college.

The UPES exam or UPESEAT is the University of Petroleum & Energy Studies Engineering Aptitude Test conducted by University of Petroleum & Energy Studies once a year to get into UPES School pf Engineering.
