COER Roorkee Placements

College of Engineering Roorkee, Roorkee has a training and placement programme that offers placements to its students in various companies of different sectors. For COER Roorkee placements, the placement cell conduct various activities for its students such as conducting training for the students in soft skills, quantitative aptitude, design thinking, english communication , presentation skills, mock interviews, mock group discussion and sharing real life experiences to the students. COER Roorkee placement cell also helps the companies to conduct the placement process. The companies provide the offer letter to the candidates selected in the placement process students after which they have to join by the date mentioned in the offer letter.

Placements

Reflecting on my college experience, I wanted to share some thoughts about the placement opportunities. While my college might have had fewer placements compared to some other institutions, I believe there's still a lot to gain from the experience. The limited number of placements pushed me to be proactive and resourceful.

Hello candidate,

The admissions in College of Engineering Roorkee are done through counseling and seat allotment procedure of all the GATE qualified applicants. The applicants who have not qualified GATE will have to appear for the College entrance Test/Counselling.

Apart from the Gate criteria, the Candidates who have qualified UKSEE examination on merit basis and have passed B.Sc. examination with Mathematics as one of the subject and securing minimum 60% marks in Diploma in Engineering or Equivalent Examination, only are eligible for direct admission in second year.
