The School of Law, ITM University Gwalior, is a prestigious constituent college offering a range of law programs to aspiring legal professionals. The admission process at the School of Law is designed to select the most qualified candidates for its various undergraduate and postgraduate law programs. Application Procedure
Following steps are involved to apply for admission to the School of Law, ITM University Gwalior,
1. Application Procedure for ITM-NEST: It requires the online submission of application at the official website of ITM University for the registration for the ITM-NEST exam with payment of required application fee.
2. ITM-NEST Entrance Test: The aspirants have to attend the entrance exam on a designated date of exam. These usually test on all the aforesaid elements, like legal aptitude, logical reasoning, general knowledge, and knowledge of English.
3. Declaration of Result: After the exam, the ITM University declares the results of ITM-NEST. Eligible candidates will be given a chance to move forward with the selection procedure.
4. Counselling Procedure: Certain candidates might also be called for counselling. This includes document verification and seat allotment based on merit and preference.
5. Documents Required: There are numerous documents that have to be submitted during the time of admission. These include mostly all documents as mentioned in the above procedures.
6. Fee Payment: Once seat is allotted and documents are verified, candidates are required to pay the needed admission fee in order to reserve their seat.
7. Final Admission: On completion of the above procedures, candidates will get their final admission letter from School of Law, ITM University Gwalior.
Degree wise Admission Process
BA LLB (Hons): This course provides 120 seats. Entry is designed on the basis of merit through the ITM-NEST entrance exam. Candidates must have completed 10+2 and should possess qualifying marks as mentioned by the university.
B.Com LLB (Hons): This is another five-year integrated program with 120 seats. Admission is the same as for BA LLB (Hons), and candidates must clear the ITM-NEST exam. This is ideal for students interested in combining legal studies with commerce.
BBA LLB (Hons): The admission process is similar to the other five-year courses, and it is based on the performance in ITM-NEST. The number of seats available for this course are not specified.
LLB: The three-year traditional LLB course has 120 seats. The admission is based on the ITM-NEST exam. Candidates must have passed any bachelor's degree from a recognized university. They are eligible to seek this course.
LLM Criminal Law: This is a postgraduate one-year course. There is the ITM-NEST entrance test, and the candidates who clear it will be chosen. The candidates must be an LLB or equivalent degree pass holder.
The LLM in Constitutional Law is also of one-year duration. Here, too, candidates have to clear the ITM-NEST exam to get admitted. A bachelor's degree in law is eligible for this course.
