    College Infrastructure

I loved my colleges room because they are separately divided by the course and the section with different room number. And my college have a broad area with garden area and sports ground and i really like it these things.

    Academics

I was completed my studies in Bcom from my distance university of delhi at affordable price. Yes, its distance learning education but still they conduct our exam in a offline mode which is good things in my opinion.

    Placements

Placement maybe provided not confirmation about it but sometimes they do because its a distance learning but some of students from distance learning education got placement in thier past from this college in a good companies. Salary will be not much as you expected its a decent or below decent.

    College Infrastructure

College infrastructure is very good and the campus is situated in new delhi and have all the facilities and different department for the work with full assistance if any student faces some issue in the process

    Academics

They have a pretty good material for study and it is full of knowledge. They also provide classes on saturday and sunday for assistance and if someone wants to attend college. They have professors with good knowledge.

    Placements

They dont provide placement as the purpose of school of open learning is just that students can do whatever they are doing either study for some competitive exam or job they will get degree by just giving the exams.

    Placements

They did not provide placement after graduation as ut is a open school so they just provide the degree and hence there are no placement structures but it would be recommended that they must have the placement structure for the students .

    Value for Money

It is full of value for money who just need the degree and doing side by side other things so the value of the degree is very good and it is well reputed therefor it is recommended by me as well.thankyou

    College Infrastructure

Colleges are great, and they provided weekend classes at regular college of delhi university of north campus and south campus. Teacher has also from regular colleges. Good environment like a regular college of delhi university.

    Academics

Teachers of regular college was there ,they teach us well and give their best to provide knowledge about subjects. Study material was also provided from colleges with all subjects. And conduct offline examination.

    Placements

I don't know about placement in distance learning of DU but sometimes I have heard from News paper that they provide placement opportunity not at the highest level but as a normal level. But nor sure about that.

    College Infrastructure

College infra is great everything thing is well structured and the atmosphere is amazing with full of greenery. Classes are well structured and well maintain With hygienity. Labs are also well maintain.

    Academics

As I am studying bachelor's of buisness administration. Syllabus is totally wast and extra from your course. And there is no time table of any admissions of sem. They were just provide email for ragistration of month in November and conduct the end sem within one month. This is really show there irresponsibilty

    Placements

There is no placement as this is open school platform. if students are talented they get it own there own based on there skills. I am not suggesting this college please go other open colleges like IGNOU.

    Value for Money

Getting admission in this college is really waste of money

    College Infrastructure

There are no fixed centres alloted... Every semester we've been allotted a different college to give our papers... Some colleges are good mostly are poor. But the fun part is that you get to know each college in Delhi.

    Academics

Our internals happen on a website rather than bringing/ making a project. Which is in someway a better option, as I've seen student travel from different cities like Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, etc. just to give papers... So it's an efficient way of doing internals.

    Placements

I don't think they provide any placement rounds for sol. But if they do companies won't select the students as they're not industry ready, nor they're provided with any past experience of job or an internship.

    Value for Money

In one third the rate of regular college in Delhi, sol provides a degree. So ig value for money.

    Campus Life

We've no campus and the one which is north or south delhi, they feel like govt. quaters.

    College Infrastructure

I was horrible experience studying in sol(school of open learning) .the infrastructure of the college is quite decent no doubt.proper hygiene is maintained in all the classes.still needs a lot improvement.

    Academics

The academics of sol is worst ,i have never seen such improper management. No updates are give on time. Students didn’t even know about the books and syllabus before exams. The system is too complicated which needs to be resolved as soon as possible.

    Placements

Im studying in 1st year . Im not sure about the placement . But placement cell didn’t even picked up the call. Sol need to understand this that from where did the students get their doubt clarified?!!!

    Value for Money

If you are looking for just a degree and zero college experience, then its expensive. There is no scope of any exposure as you do not interact with other people. If you just want a degree, then only opt for this, otherwise, take the option of regular college if yoh have it.

    Campus Life

The campus was very poor, like the buildings and classrooms were not maintained properly, and nobody comes to college in SOL so its obvious if they dont maintain proper hygiene. So for me, the campus life is very poor.

    Others

    No.

Amazingly beautiful and no worries about attendance.

    College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is basic but functional. Study material and facilities are provided, though its primarily meant for self study. Improvements in campus amenities could enhance the experience.

    Academics

Sol, delhi university offers a flexible academic suitable for distance learners. Study materials are comprehensive but require self discipline. More interactive support could improve learning outcomes.

    Placements

Sol, delhi university has limited placement opportunities as it primarily focuses on distance education. Students often rely on self effort for career advancement, highlighting the need for better placement cell.

    Value for Money

Sol, delhi university is affordable and provides good value for money with low fees and recognised degrees. However limited campus engagement and placement support may not meet all students expectations.

    Campus Life

Doesn't really matter. I barely attended college. It is meant to be distance learning. Attendance doesn't matter. Good for people who want to pursue a degree but also want to prepare for an competitive exam alongside.

    Others

Overall, the School of Open Learning (SOL), Delhi University, provides a flexible education model for distance learners. It is highly affordable and offers recognized degrees, making it accessible to a wide range of students. However, the experience largely depends on self-discipline as there are limited interactive opportunities.

Have a question related to SOL DU ?

I want to do master's in psychology in SOL DU. But I'm also enrolled in private university with the same course. Can I enroll on both of the universities at the same time.

    Hello,

Recently, UGC has approved a proposal to allow students to pursue two degree programmes at the same time. One of the degrees has to be in the regular mode and the other either in open and distance learning or online. However, in case you're asking if you can get in both the Universities in regular mode then it is not possible.

Also, there are a lot of universities who are not yet accepting the dual degree policy. They may accept it from a year or so as it was released this year. So you should get in contact with the college to know more about it.

    I hope this helps,

    All the best

    Hello aspirant,
To get into SOL all you need is the minimum eligibility marks that are provided by the institution.
The SOL doesn't have any kind of entrance test. Or exams rather the admission is solely based upon the merit and sometimes the interview.
So there is no entrance rate only merit and marks that are valuable

yes , you get admission in B com  in any university or college
