Our Library houses a vast collection of books across various technology disciplines. With a wide range of national and international technical journals, it’s a treasure trove for students eager to expand their understanding beyond the classroom.
- I.T Infrastructure
The college computer lab has around 60 terminals on a LAN, with the necessary peripherals and INTERNET connectivity. The latest licensed software like MS Office, Windows NT, Oracle, and Visual Studio is made available.
- Laboratories
The college Students are provided with facilities for Smithy, Carpentry, Foundry, and basic Electrical Works. The workshop also has Lathes, Drilling Machines, Round saws, etc. which will provide hands-on experience to each of the students.
- Sports
The Sports Club of SCMS College of Polytechnics is designed to serve student interest in different sports and recreational activities. These interests can be competitive, recreational, or instructional. The club provides an opportunity where through engagement in sports, the members learn leadership, teamwork, problem-solving, responsibility, self-discipline, and a sense of initiative.

- Club
Music Club- The general objective of the Music Club is to engage musically talented/experienced students in the club’s activities to maintain progress in their musical skills throughout the academic years. The club also encourages students to showcase their talents in music, instruments as well as in vocal. There are a lot of benefits of instrumental music, not only for the children who participate in the clubs but also for their classmates. It provides an opportunity for students to interact with each other and teaches them about different cultures and it improves their skills.
Arts Club- The arts club of SCMS College of Polytechnics provides students who have an interest in art, an opportunity to explore art and craft forms beyond what is offered in the curriculum. The club allows students to work individually and in groups. Art club helps them in developing their creative skills. The students have a great time learning lots of new skills and techniques and they produce some wonderful artwork too. Being part of the club will help the child understand the meaning of his imagination and learn to express his vision. It will enhance children’s craftsmanship, giving them exposure to various types of craft and art.
Eco Club- We have formed an Eco Club to empower students to participate in and take up meaningful environmental activities and projects. It is a forum through which students can reach out to engage and influence their parents and neighborhood communities to promote outstanding environmental behavior. The ECO Club is an active group committed to environmental stewardship. Students engage in meaningful activities, promoting awareness and action towards a sustainable future.
- Extra Curricular Activities
The college also provides extracurricular activities like NSS and NCC.
