SCT Polytechnic was established in 2000 at Bengaluru – the technological capital of Karnataka and one of the fastest-growing cities in India. This is an AICTE approved polytechnic which is spread over a large area of 5 acres and it has a lot of programmes and courses ranging in diploma in different fields of engineering. SCT Polytechnic allows for this with a total student-intake capacity of 166 students, and a faculty count of 39 teachers. The institute provides five degrees of diploma courses and take three years each to train students in a particular field of engineering. This is apparent in its state of the art facilities and practical based on technical education.

SCT Polytechnic has developed a wide variety of qualities that are aimed at improving the learning environment as well as the general well being of students. The school has a fully equipped library, which provides information to students and other stakeholders in matters touching on technical issues. In the field of sports and fitness, especially for those interested in the same, the college has provided for great sporting amenities. Loyalty and quality eating establishment: the place where students can take a break and discuss between classes: cafeteria. Among the strengths of SCT Polytechnic, one cannot dismiss its IT-intensive laboratory equipped for various departments, thus students are capable of practical training in their selected fields. The college also boasts of a good IT care, so that the students are up to date with trends in the use of computers. Accommodation: The institute has well furnished and separate hostel for outstation boys and girls students to stay peacefully. Also, first aid facilities, which are equipped health centre are provided on the campus for the students.

As earlier noted, the SCT Polytechnic provides the students with five diploma courses, which are all day programmes. These courses cover virtually all fields of engineering to accommodate everyone’s needs and dreams for the future. Last year total approved intake capacity in all the courses of the institute was 252. Though the number of graduates has not been disclosed, emphasis on professional education and training with regard to both vocational and market skills again provides a force of qualified professionals in the sector of technical workforce.

Currently, the admission of SCT Polytechnic is based on merit, which provides candidates with the chance to complete the necessary courses for further study. SCT Polytechnic offers a variety of programmes for engineering diploma and ample amenities for students to foster their technical learning experience; therefore, it deserves student attention and consideration. Its location in Bangalore, the IT hub of India also known as the Silicon Valley of India invites students to interact with many technology companies and possibly get internship placements. Thanks to this vision in the process of development and further growth, the institute is also dedicated to preparing qualified job seekers who are eager to take their position in the field of technology and engineering.
