Seth Jai Parkash Polytechnic, established in 1980, is one of the well-known technical institutions in Yamuna Nagar, Haryana. This co-educational institute is spread over a sprawling campus of 14 acres with the mission of quality technical education. This polytechnic is approved by AICTE and offers various diploma courses in engineering fields. This institute has a total enrolment of 1,438 students with a faculty strength of 39, ensuring a very positive student-teacher ratio for individual attention and quality education.

This polytechnic has outstanding facilities to supplement the learning processes of their students. The library forms the of all academic resources with a huge stock of books, journals, and periodicals. The Seth Jai Parkash Polytechnic also has an e-library with digital resources and an internet zone that keeps the students abreast of the latest happenings in the fields concerned.

Equally impressive is the IT infrastructure of the Seth Jai Parkash Polytechnic institute, with more than 300 computers and a campus wide Wi-Fi network supported by RF links of 48 Mbps speed. Extensive sports facilities both indoor and outdoor, and a well-equipped gym are available in the campus for the physical well-being of the students. There are separate hostels for both boys and girls. Accommodation is good in the hostels. There are three boys' hostels and one girls' hostel, which are allotted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Seth Jai Parkash Polytechnic offers six full-time diploma programs in different streams of engineering, which are Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Chemical Engineering. All the courses are of three years duration and are aimed at providing the students with a good foundation in their respective fields.
