Admission to any of the said programs shall be made on the basis of merit, which may include a combined consideration of the entrance examination and marks scored in the 10+2 examination in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

M.E. (Master of Engineering): The four branches of the M.E. program taught here have an intake of 24 seats each. These comprise Mechanical Production Engineering, Communication System Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Software Engineering. Typically, the M.E. program requires a B.E. or B. Tech. degree in the respective field. The selection may be given based on performance in the B.E. or B. Tech. degree and scores in relevant entrance examinations.

Diploma: SVBIT also has a three-year full-time Diploma course in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical Engineering with a total of 60 seats for each course. These degree programs are for 10th-standard-educated students who opt for practical, industry-oriented trick.
