SCE Sasaram: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Shershah College of Engineering, Sasaram, also regarded as the SCE, is one of the very youngest institutions, with its establishment traced back to no more than 2016. The college is situated in Sasaram, in the state of Bihar. It is a co-educational venture spread over sprawling 10.62 acres of campus full of green binds and clean ground. The college, being an affiliated college, received the approval from AICTE, New Delhi, hence matching the national educational standards. At present, the institute offers five undergraduate engineering programs to a comprehensive student body of 971 enrolment. Together with a faculty strength of 24, dedicated educators, SCE Sasaram ensures a modest student-to-faculty ratio, which helps in creating a healthy learning environment.

The college offers a host of ultra-modern facilities geared toward the provision of an enriched educational experience for students. It has well-equipped laboratories that offer the latest facilities in the different branches of engineering. Spacious, well-ventilated classrooms, all air-conditioned, produce an atmosphere congenial to academic pursuits. The library at SCE Sasaram houses an absolute treasure trove of information via a collection of textbooks, reference books, journals, and periodicals. The institute also provides separate hostels for both boys and girls with spacious rooms and hygienic food arrangements. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, and a student can access any online resource as and when required. The college also provides the facility for transportation from Dehri to the campus, covering almost all major residential areas so that the commute to college becomes easy and hassle-free for the students.

SCE Sasaram offers five full-time B.Tech programs, each of four years duration. These are five programs, including the Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Mining Engineering. Each of the programs is approved with an intake of 60 students, and thus, for the total students' intake, it is 300. The institution has immersed true quality of technical education in its commitment, and across its line of courses, it is delivered to suit the requirements of the industries, which evolves with the ever-changing environment.

Admission into Shershah College of Engineering, Sasaram is on the basis of a Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination conducted by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board. This standardised test ensures that the enrolment of engineering aspirants is fair and competitive.
