Beginning its glorious journey about a decade ago, Shivalik Ayurvedic Medical College, Azamgarh, has carved a niche for itself in the educational sphere of Ayurvedic medicine. The college offers a BAMS course and goes through a meticulous admission procedure to select the best candidates. Admission is based primarily on the NEET for admission into BAMS, and it is a must for applicants.
The eligibility for entry into the BAMS course at Shivalik Ayurvedic Medical College requires that candidates have completed their intermediate education (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as the core subjects. The college follows procedures directed by its governing body concerning counselling and allocation of seats for candidates.
NEET is the principal examination admitting students, testing Physics, Chemistry, and Biology studies of the students. Degree-wise Admission Process
BAMS (Bachelor in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery):
The BAMS course at Shivalik Ayurvedic Medical College is a full-fledged six-year program designed for students to get a good grounding in the science of Ayurvedic medicine. Approved intake for the program is limited to 60. Admission to the BAMS program is highly dependent on the performance of the candidates in NEET. Candidates must also have passed the 12th grade in the Sciences with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and have obtained a NEET score above the cut-off marks specified by the college.
