Introduction Shivneri Institute of Pharmacy, Pune, established in the year 2006, is an affiliated college located at Khanapur, Junnar, in the terrains of Maharashtra. It is a co-educational institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India for imparting specialised education in pharmaceutical sciences. The college now has an enrolment of 101 students on its 2.5-acre campus, with a faculty strength of 7 members. Shivneri Institute of Pharmacy adheres to one good quality pharmacy education program, the concept of creating practical skills, and the provision of knowledge in the pharmacy industry.

A number of facilities within the institute contribute to the student learning environment and development in a holistic manner. A full computerised 35,000 book capacity library that offers free access in Indian as well as the English language is equipped with e-Book facilities. The campus has separate hostels facilities for boys and girls with a strength of 800 each, so the students from various parts of India feel their stay like home. The College also supports indoor games like table tennis, chess, and carrom. The IT setup in the college is modern and supports present technology-related teaching methodologies to the fullest. A cafeteria is available for students that serve vegetarian food from morning to evening. An auditorium that can accommodate 1,000 people conducts cultural programs and functions that are part of campus life to make it a lively experience.

The Shivneri Institute of Pharmacy offers one course as of this moment, the Diploma in Pharmacy. This is a full-time, two-year course with approved intake of 60 students. The course D.Pharma is designed and aims to offer a strong foundation in Pharmaceutical Sciences to the students while preparing them for a career in the fast-growing healthcare and pharmaceutical sector.
