Shri Agrasen Girls Teacher Training College, Bharatpur, Rajasthan was founded in the year 2006. This particular women’s college aims at preparing would-be teachers by providing a specialised curriculum in teacher education. Shri Agrasen Girls Teacher Training College currently offers one primary course: The academic programme that is commonly referred to as when student complete their studies and train to be teachers is called the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programme. This is a two-year, full-time programme with an intake capacity of one hundred students as befitting the college’s ideal of producing quality teachers. This academic programme aims at preparing students to effectively practice the teaching profession through interaction with coursework and practice. The course fee has been further kept affordable at 53,760 rupees so that capacity trainers can enrol in this programme.

Entry into the B.Ed programme of Shri Agrasen Girls Teacher Training College is done based on merit. Students willing to seek admission to B. Ed should clear Pre- Teacher Education Test (PTET) from the state government or its appointed education department.
