Diploma in Computer Technology is a three-year full-time course offered by Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education, Mumbai and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
Eligibility Criteria
The Candidate must have passed secondary school certificate (SSC/CBSE/ICSE/IGCSE) Examination with at least 35% marks in aggregate for all categories belonging, with following subjects: General Science, Mathematics, English
For Maharashtra State candidates:- Candidates passing Std. VIII, IX, and SSC from a recognized institution in Maharashtra State.
Candidates passing Std. VIII, IX other than Maharashtra State and SSC from a recognized institution in Maharashtra State possessing Domicile Certificate of Maharashtra State are eligible.
For all Indian candidates: -The Candidates having Indian Nationality are eligible.
For Candidates from Other Than Maharashtra State ( OMS Candidate)
The candidates from Other than Maharashtra State (OMS) candidates can take admission only at ILQ level
OMS candidates will also complete the CAP formalities.
OMS candidates are not eligible to avail Maharashtra Government Scholarships
OMS candidates taking admission at ILQ level can avail Scholarships given by their respective states and they will complete the necessary process to avail that Scholarship on their own.
Eligibility Criteria for Lateral Entry to 2nd Year Diploma Courses
(Seats will be allotted to OMS candidates on the availability of seats in respective branches after completion of CAP rounds)
The candidate should be Indian national
Candidate passed Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) Science or HSC Science with vocational or HSC Science with Technical or SSC with 2 years ITI with appropriate specialization.
