Shri Havagiswami College, Udgir Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The Library has a number of reference books, textbooks, handbooks, periodicals, back volumes of periodicals, stocks of CDs, audiovisual aids that help the faculty and students to develop and collect the latest and reliable information on their respective subjects. The Library subscribes National and International Journals and Magazines. A few computers are loaded with E-Journals, E-Resources and provided with Internet facility.

Fully ventilated, well-furnished classrooms along with well equipped state-of-the-art laboratories are available for effective teaching-learning process. Each department has the required number of classrooms and laboratories as per the university and UGC guidelines.

The department organizes different sports events and encourages students to participate in local, university, inter-university, state, and national level competitions. Well equipped indoor stadium, gymnasium, playground and number of kits for various sports and games are available for students and staff. Different Sports activities are organized in two sessions for college students. The department has created sports facilities for indoor and outdoor games. Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Cricket, Table Tennis, Shuttle Badminton, Hockey, Chess, Athletics, Weight lifting, etc. are constantly arranged in the college. Our players have established a record in many events as individuals and teams at different levels. Our college constantly wins first prize in outdoor games in different events since the establishment of Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University. Our college has the honor of conducting General University Championships for many times.

The hostel buildings are located in the vicinity of the college and are considered second homes for the many outstation students especially belonging to the different villages, revenue regions and remote areas. All possible comforts like spacious rooms, pure drinking water, entertainment and recreation rooms, internet facility, sports facility, etc. have been provided to the hostellers. The expansion of the hostel speaks of the increased intake from far off regions which reflect the trust the college earned.

Shri Havagiswami College Cafeteria provides hygienic and quality food to students and staff. Necessary precautions are taken while preparing and serving food items and other edibles. Fresh and Purified drinking water is made available to all the. A Quality Control Committee is formed to monitor the quality of food items and the hygiene maintained in the cafeteria.

The College has the special privilege of enjoying railways and roadways transport facilities. The college is centrally located in the town and is well connected by railways and roadways transport. A step ahead in providing better services to all the students, RTC Bus Pass Counter has also been opened on the campus for the convenience of the students commuting by Indian Railway and MSRTC transportation services.
