Shri Shivaji D.Ed. College, Washim one of the standalone colleges was established in the year 1990 at Washim, Maharashtra. This is a co-educational institution which to educators it offers them a Diploma in Education (D.Ed). The college is located on a limited area of 5 acre area and has a total enrollment of its students of 123 and it is facilitated by a staff of 9 teachers. Shri Shivaji D.Ed. College has only single full time course in its syllabus which is the full time Diploma in Education (D.Ed) program. This two- year program is aimed at training students for teaching profession, with an approved capacitiance of one hundred . Since the college is centrally concerned with this type of program more effort can be devoted into training quality educators. The college does not report the number of graduates from the latest year available; however, its ability to keep a small student to faculty ratio means that it caters to all of its students’ individual needs.
