Shrimati Indira Mahadev Beharay College of Arts, Shriman Chandulal Sheth College of Commerce, and Shrimati Shobhanatai Chandulal Sheth College of Science, Khed-ICS College was an excellent educational institution imparting diverse education streams in the respective disciplines of arts, commerce, and science. 

ICS College wishes to provide for straightforward and effective admissions to aspirant students. In total, ICS College undertakes undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The admission criteria that are adopted follow the norms prescribed by the University of Mumbai as well as by the government of Maharashtra.

Admissions normally start after 12th standard results are announced, usually during June-July for the new academic year, which starts from August-September. Marks obtained in the qualifying examination for undergraduate programs-12th standard or equivalent -are considered. For postgraduate programs, bachelor's degree marks are considered.

The eligibility criteria differ according to the course that is chosen. For undergraduate courses, students are supposed to have passed their 12th standard examination from a recognized board. In the case of postgraduate courses, a relevant bachelor's degree is required. Some courses might also have particular subject combinations and minimum percentage requirements.

Application Process

The application procedure for ICS College is as follows:

1. One can access the official website of the college or collect an application form from the college's admission office.

2. Fill the application form correctly with personal and academic details.

3. Attach required documents, mainly including:

• Mark sheets of 10th and 12th standard
• School leaving certificate
• Character certificate
• Caste certificate, if required
• Passport-size photographs

4. Filled in all application forms accompanied by supporting documents to reach the college admissions office within due dates.

5. Pay prescribed application fee at college counter.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.A.: The college offers a B.A. course. Admission is based on marks scored in the 12th standard exam. Students from any stream - Arts, Science, or Commerce can apply for admission in the B.A. course.

B.Com: Preference is given to the Commerce stream students who are in 12th standard. However, other stream students can also apply for the B.Com program as long as they fulfill the eligibility criteria of the university.

BMS: Admission into the BMS program is given based on the marks obtained at the 12th standard. Students can join from any stream, but Commerce or Mathematics as a background holds a better advantage.

B.Sc. Information Technology: This program demands that students must have done Mathematics in 12th standard. Admission is very competitive and through the marks secured in the qualifying examination, though there is emphasis on Mathematics and Science subjects.

B.Sc. Computer Science: Eligibility for this course is comparable to B.Sc. IT with an emphasis on a strong mathematical and scientific background. Admission strictly based on marks scored in 12th standard, especially in these subjects.

B.Sc. Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology: This course is meant for those students who have studies Science in their 12th standard. Admission is strictly based on the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in the qualifying examination.

M.Sc. in Information Technology A bachelor's degree in IT or Computer Science and an allied discipline is the minimum educational requirement for a master's level postgraduate programme. Admission would be based upon marks scored for the qualifying degree. In certain institutions, some even conduct an entrance test followed by an interview, for admission into this course.
