5. Submission of Application: Application form duly filled in along with all the necessary documents is to be submitted at the college admission office before due date.

6. Merit List: The college will also prepare and publish merit lists based on the criteria given for each program.

7. Counseling and Admission: The candidates included in the shortlist will be called for further counseling, where the original documents must be produced, and fees paid for joining.

8. Orientation: New students are taken through an orientation program aimed at familiarizing them with the college rules, facilities, and academic expectations.

Program Wise Procedure Admission

BA: The college has a Bachelor of Arts. Admission follows merit in the qualifying examination (10+2). Admissions of all streams can be obtained; however, those from the Arts background may be given preference.

B.Sc: In order to be eligible to seek admissions into the B.Sc programme, a candidate requires to pass 10+2 with science subjects. The merit list will depend on the score obtained in the qualifying examinations, especially for the science subjects.

MA: M.A programs in various disciplines like Political science, Sociology, Geography, Hindi, Sanskrit, Home Science, and Pedagogy are offered by Shyama Tiwari Mahavidyalaya. To be eligible for admission, the interested candidates need to hold graduation in a bachelor's degree (B.A. or equivalent) under the 10-12-3 pattern. Generally, admission is made based on the marks acquired in the respective undergraduate degree.

M.Sc: The college also offers M.Sc courses in subjects like Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Zoology, and Botany. Candidates are required to possess a B.Sc. degree or equivalent in the relevant subject. The mode of selection shall be based on the performance in the qualifying undergraduate degree.

D.El.Ed: The eligibility criterion for admissions into the diploma program in elementary education states that an individual must have undergone the 10+2 examination with relevant subjects through which students need to undergo written tests and other selection procedures as per state government or UT administration policy. The number of sanctioned intake for this program is 100 seats.
