Wi-Fi facility is available throughout the campus and classrooms are good. In a single classroom, there are around 60 -70 students. The canteen is near the computer science building and the food quality is average. If you come from a sports background then you have a good opportunity. It's recommended college.
Some teachers are helpful, they are friendly with the students and clears all the doubts of the students. Some teachers don't know the subject but they act rude in front of students. 85% attendance is required to attend the exams and it's hard to maintain.
In the Computer Science and Engineering branch passing percentage is more than 90%. The highest package offered in college is 41.60 LPA and the average package for Computer Science and Engineering is 8.0 LPA. The top companies visiting our college are Ola, Oracle, Zscalar and many more.
The infrastructure of our college is good, but the hostel is mid-range, the food quality is not good, and only 1 Wi-Fi is available for 8 to 1-bedroom rooms. Labs and classrooms are good. The whole college has Wi-Fi-enabled labs that are good with air conditioning systems. In some labs, computers are old, and in others, they are very new, but all did the job.
The teaching faculty is good and they are supportive throughout the year, but the cache is that they teach an old syllabus and are still stuck in the C language only. The course is not that since they teach an old syllabus.
The placement is good, with over 800 offers, and with a pack of 45 LPAs, almost all students of IT placed. The top recruiting companies are Cisco, Oracle, Amazon, Redbus, Sandvine, etc. The core is also well-placed in mass recruiting in college companies like TCS Wipro, etc. They come to college and mass recruit in the 100s and 200s.
Facilities available in my department are well and good. Classrooms are well maintained, computers are updated on date, and Wi-Fi works well. Coming to the hostel, the facilities are below average. No proper infrastructure, no proper maintenance, rooms are very old, no renovation, bathrooms are very poorly maintained, and it's hard for girls to survive there. The food menu changes every week in the hostel. The food taste and maintenance in the hostel are below average.
Very few professors are highly qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable. Many of the assistant professors are not so helpful and knowledgeable. Coming to the course, the course curriculum is relevant to the course, and it surely helps students become industry-ready. Semester exams are not so tough if students study well. Teachers provide notes, PPTs, questions, and previous year papers, which help us during semester exams. The pass percentage is around 85%.
The percentage of students placed every year is almost 95% in my course, i.e., Computer Science and Engineering. The highest package offered this year is 31 LPA and the lowest package offered is 1 LPA. The overall average package offered is 8 LPA. This year, the top recruiting company is Oracle Bangalore. The percentage of students getting internships is almost 80%, and this time, Visa company recruited the most interns.
The college is full of greenery. Faculty are so friendly. I got very good friends, we have good Wi-Fi facilities, good classrooms, and the library has rich volumes. The food is getting better day by day, medical facilities are good, and we have a health center where staff are available always to treat patients. Sports and games are encouraged, and participation in national and other levels is also encouraged.
Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. The majority of them are Ph.D. holders. Teaching quality is good, but some are not up to the mark. The course curriculum is great, and additionally, they are teaching extra courses too. Semester exams are easier comparatively, but the evaluation criteria and CIE are not hard.
My college provides good placement opportunities. The average package per year is 8 Lacs. In the last year, the highest package was 42 LPA, but this year it has reduced to 32 LPA. Total companies offering placements were 199. Many more companies are visiting this year, and one company did mass recruitments for around 150 people.
First of all, keep in mind that this is an old college so do not raise the bar too high before coming here. The infrastructure is quite old, except for some buildings that were built later. In simple terms, I do not recommend it to anyone. The food is pathetic and the hostel is very hygienic.
Personally, in my department, which is ECE, teachers are very strict. If you even come 3 minutes late to the class, the teacher will not allow you, and since the college has a strict 85% attendance policy, it would become a big problem for you afterwards. You can generally leave up to four classes, depending on the credit of the course.
Placements are usually good as long as you are in a good branch. In 2021, the highest package was 41 LPA, which was given by Intuit. In 2022, it is reduced to 31 LPA, which was given by Oracle. So as long as you are an above-average student, you will get the placement. But if you want to have a top catch, you must work hard, learn coding, attend hackathons and make unique projects.
The infrastructure of our college is good. The college is located in the centre of the district. Facilities like medical, sports and Wi-Fi are available. Hostel facilities are very good for such a fee structure. Classrooms are good. A good library is available for the students to study.
Our college has good faculty members. They are well-experienced in the teaching field. They are from industries and top colleges. They can help students with their studies to score good marks in academics and also regarding jobs. They are well-qualified and knowledgeable about the subjects.
Our college provides good placements. Previously, the college was affiliated to VTU Belgaum, and now, it has achieved autonomous status. The college achieves 100% placements every year. The students who didn't get placed through campus placements try for jobs outside the campus on their own. Students should undergo two internships every year, and the main project is also conducted.
The college has the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment's. The classrooms has smartboard facilities. The classroom's are well ventilated. The college and hostel has Wi-Fi connection. The hostels are clean and well maintained.
The academics here is average. The faculties here will complete the portions here on time. They'll teach the portions provided but its not expected to gain the outside knowledge for all the lecturers here.
During our batch placements were good. It was lockdown period so most of the students got placed in many good companies with highest salary package's offered. Almost all the students got placed during our batch.
The value of the money was not fully getting but it was good. The classes were taken online as there was lockdown. The placement raining was also good. Due to lockdown I was not satisfied with the schedule.
We couldn't experience the campus life for longer period due to lockdown but we enjoyed the campus life after the lockdown ended. The faculties are also friendly and co-operative towards students and the campus is safe and ragging free.
The college life was not soo enjoyable for our batch due to lockdown.
Yes the college has a decent infrastructure and has a lush green campus. Campus is definately wifi enabled with routers placed inside the departments and library. The campus is always filled with students and faculties. The classrooms ( atleast in CSE dept.) are really well lit with each one of them having smartboards in them. Hostels are also not bad as they have 4 hostels for 4 different years in the college. The hostel food is not very bad, but some meals of the week are really not eatable.
The academics is average. Some faculties only know what is there in the pdf they have been using for teaching. No intrest in the subject. Some faculties don't even know the subjects they are teaching. But Most of the faaculties are really knowledgeable about their subjects and have a very keen intrest in research and projects.
I cannot blame the college for the current situation of placements as there is recession going on. But still the college tries everything to bring good companies to the college. The placements in the past have been fabulous. This college has been renouned for its placements in the town. On an average when compared to tire 1 and 2 colleges, the placements are good.
It totally depends on the mode of admission for the student. If he or she has entered the college through KCET he has the best value for money. But for the people from other states who come through COMEDK, for them it might be a little expensive when taken into consideration tution fees and accomidation (hostel) in the college. Also there are a lot of PG's really close to the campus. Students can definately consider them too for staying there.
The college conducts fests and is really filled with events. This time is the most stress free for the students. Also one aditional fact : The administration (few of them) have a lot of ego in them (as if they are ias or govt officers) . Be aware of these people before hand. They will make you run around the college for even the smallest task. They don't have mercy.
Not bad but if you are really intrested in CSE ISE, this college is really good.
The college have all the necessary infrastructure facility and equipment required for the students. The classrooms are well equipped. Laboratories are good. The hostels are provided with the wifi connection. The food is also good.
I'm a student passed out in 2019 and SIT has been a good college for the engineering course. The curriculum is updated with the latest requirements and includes all the recent developments in the particular branch of engineering
The quality of placements are good at the college. There is a 100% placements for the computer science students. The average package received was around 29LAP and it was grabbed by telecommunications department.
The course cost around 1-2L per year including all hostels expenses and the academic fees. There is value of money of course because the college is ranked in a good position by the NIRF ranking system.
The college campus is good and there is lot of sports activities going on in the campus. There are different clubs to showcase your talent like music ,dance , drama, sports etc. The college is in a good location of the city
The Institute is spread over 65 acres with Greenery all over the campus . The library has a collection of 70000 volumes includes 25000 volumes that contains books of all courses. The seating capacity is 450 students. Classroom have a capacity of 80 students and seminars hall have a capacity of 250 students.College wi-fi is throughout the campus. All year have separate hostels with very healthy and hygienic food facilities.Hostel cleaning is done on the daily basis and are very neat and clean.
Iam studying Electrical and Electronics engineering.I have a keen interest in electronics . Teaching quality is good and faculty are ready to guide anytime. Circular is updated but there is need to make college curriculum based on the industry requirements.
Placement is above average in cse, ise, ece and for eee branches. 80% of students is placed of 2020 batch still placement is going on.Highest salary package is of Cisco of 29lakh/annum.For cse,ise and ece student.Average salary offered is of 4lakh . College will help us in placement in all aspects .
It will course aroud 2 lakh . Yes,it is worth because teaching facilities and placement offered by company for our college is good.
College campus is full of greenery . College has a full wi fi connection throughout the campus. There are a lot cultural and technical group which helps in the holistic development of the students.Teacher, stuff and everyone is supportive in nature. Its location is 70km outskirts of Banglore .
Hello student, https://www.careers360.com/colleges/sree-siddaganga-college-of-arts-science-and-commerce-tumkur
For CSE branch management quota fee structure generally depends on the availability of the seats . I can say ,you have to pay 10-15 lakhs management fees and yearly 2.5 lakhs(same for all branches) for four years. So the total course fee you have to pay will be around 20-25 lakhs.
Hostel fee:
Hostel fees for girls will be around 79,500 per year for shared accommodations (2–3 students per room). It includes basic facilities like beds, study tables, fans, and Wi-Fi (though the network quality may vary),meals.
Total fee including with hostel, you have to pay 3,18,000(hostel)+ 20 lakhs for four years.
Hope this helps you!!!
