Hello student,
The fee structure is like have to pay vtu fee that is Rs. 45000 vtu fee and Rs. 16000 college fee for the first year after that 12000 + 45000 fees only in college. And the examination fee is 2590 for a year and for backlogs have 150 fees for per subjects. The hostel has 75000 fees of year. Fees will be feasible depending on the status of the student. For middle class people the fees cost is feasible but it's could be difficult to poor people. But even though if the students are paying the fees who are poor they have scholarship facility which is issued for SC and ST students.
Thank You!!
Dear Saurav
In order to get admission in Sir M Visvesvaraya Institute of technology, you need to appear in COMED-K examination that is conducted annually all over India. Based on the rank in comedK you can bag a seat in the college. Try scoring rank under 10k to get a desired branch in Sir MVIT
All the best!
Hello Padmarao,
Firstly congratulations on doing well in the ComedK exams.
Sir MVIT better known as SIR M.Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology is a reputed college in the city of Bangalore.
The previous year cutoff for Sir MVIT are -
With a rank of 7000, you can expect to get Electrical and Electronics(EE) among the Electrical core branches but Electronics and Communication(ECE) is a little tough.
The placements in Sir MVIT are good as it is located in the hub region of the country.
The average placement offers amounts to about 4.5 - 5.5 lakhs per annum, while the highest package offered is generally by tech companoes that can amount to about 15-20 lakhs per annum. Higher placement packages have been recorded but they are very rare.
Quite a few number of core companies do visit the college regularly and offer around 5 lakhs per annum. So technically speaking this is a good colleg that has good placemnt oppurtinites.
For more info on placemnets please refer to - https://www.sirmvit.edu/placement/
According to me, since getting ECE is a little tough you could try going into EE or Telecomm branch for now. After completion of 1st year of college you may have a chance of upgrading your branch to ECE. And even if you dont upgrade your bracnh, the placements are almost identical for ECE and EE branches.
Hope this helps and Bst of Luck!

All the best.....
Hello,
Unfortunately, there is a very less possibility that you make it to Sir MVIT with this rank, as most branches close at around 20000. However, if you belong to ST/SC/OBC category then there are possibilities of making it to admissions in 2nd or 3rd round. Hope it helps!
Infra wise Colleges is basic campus but facilities for MBA student might be Limited classroom could be potentially be shared with engineering students the library while functional might not have as collection of Management books and general ,e sources
Overall the college infrastructure is good and upto the mark. It meets all the requirements for infrastructure, expect library is under construction but it will soon be built in few months. For each stream there is seperate infrastructure.
Nice.. The college have all the infrastructure, facilities and equipment and all the things are very well equipped.... They have separate building for each branch of engineering. We were also taught using projector.
