According to previous year cutoffs, B.Tech for Computer Science and Engineering General is 9780 rank and B.Tech Electronics & Communication Engineering General 12544. So you should explore other options.

You will have to provide me your category as well because there are many categories in KCET 2019.

But, I can provide you the KCET 2017 and KCET 2018 cutoff ranks of the EC branch in SJBIT Bangalore.

These cutoffs were for 1G category candidates.

In 2017, after last round-

Closing Rank- 11,908

In 2018, after the last round-

Closing Rank- 24,687

Congatulations on managing to score a decent rank.The cutoffs obviously vary every year so I would advise you to keep more options in safety.You would have to compromise as you may not get top colleges.I would still attach a link for you below do that you can get to know where you have high,low or medium chances i.e in which colleges and branch.The link will give you details of every college.So please go to that link,you can add your own preferences like your category and compare different colleges before taking one.

As per your rank in ComedK 2019, you cannot get admission in SJB Institute of Technology, Bangalore as the cut-off for admission into the institution is around 34000 rank (as per last year's last round cut-off). This cut-off stands for the general qouta, i.e., non-resident of Karnataka. But in case you belong to Karnataka, you can get a seat into this college in CSE branch at the end of last round.

Placements and the job opportunities are pretty average. Most of the students get placed but the package isn't too much, varies somewhere between 3 l.p.a to 5 l.p.a. Mostly service based companies visit the campus and there is very less number of product based companies visiting the campus.

Dear candidate

DSATM is another branch of DSC that is the only advantage of this college. If you are in DSATM you will enjoy the benefit of campus placement of DSC becauae both are under same administration and no doubt DSC is good college.But DSATM lags far behind in ranking as compared to SJBIT.SJBIT is having its own placement cell, holds comparatively good ranking as compared to DSATM , provides lot of extra curricular activities along with academics.But SJBIT is very strict in attendance and has lot of unnecessary rules regulatons.
