SLCIET is well known for delivering quality training and education in diverse branches of Engineering. The institute, as an effort to be of service to interested and competent candidates, formulates its own norms for student admissions to undergraduate programs. Admission to SLCIET is mainly based on candidates' performance on the Telangana State Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET), which has its importance as a state examination that serves as criteria for entry into the B.Tech courses at the Institute.
In general, the schedule of admissions in SLCIET runs simultaneously as that of TS EAMCET which usually happens around May and June every year. For eligibility, the candidate must have passed class 12 or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
Questions in TS EAMCET are approximately 90% covered under Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and are designed to test the knowledge and aptitude incorporated in the minds of the engineering aspirants. The qualification in the entrance test should be based through maximum preparation in all levels considered in the subjects to top the ranking.
Application Process
The process of application for B. Tech admissions in SLCIET consists of the following steps.
1. Appeared for TS-EAMCET examination: The candidate has to register, apply and appear for the TS-EAMCET examination as scheduled by the examination authority.
2. TS EAMCET result: The candidate has to wait for the announcement of TS EAMCET results and then check their rank.
3. Counselling Registration: Eligible candidates have to register for the counseling conducted by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE).
4. Document Verification: The candidate has to attend document verification on the scheduled date along with the required documents such as TS EAMCET rank card, 10+2 mark sheets, proof for date of birth, etc.
5. Web Options: After document verification, candidates can enter their college and course preference in the web options facility.
6. Seat Allotment: The seat allotment shall be based on the rank, preference, and availability of seats.
7. Reporting to Institute: Candidates shall report to SLCIET after the allotment of the seat and carry out admission formalities within the specified date along with the payment of prescribed fees.
Degree-wise Admission Procedure
B.Tech: There are five full-time B.Tech programs offered by the institute; these include Computer Science and Engineering; Electronics and Communication Engineering; Electrical and Electronics Engineering; Mechanical Engineering; and Civil Engineering. Admission into the above-listed courses is primarily based on candidates' TS EAMCET scores. The truth of intake strength across engineering disciplines is silenced by the institute.

Right now I am not studying but at that time say year 2013 it was good and the exposure of teaching was very good. The teaching was flexible by teachers as they were available 24x7. The curriculum was good updated time to time . Yes there was placement done by college with good reputed companies with 75% placement rate
