Smt. Shantaben Haribhai Gajera Engineering College, Amreli (SHGEC) has been set up as one of the India established institutions for offering undergraduate engineering programs in the state of Gujarat. It follows a uniformly comprehensive admission process to select the deserving candidates into various BE courses offered by the institution. 1. The applicant must first clear the Gujarat Common Entrance Test, GUJCET.

2. After GUJCET results are declared, Admission Committee will prepare a merit list of eligible candidates as per existing rules according to document verification.

3. Merit lists will be displayed on the website of Admission Committee and other convenient means.

4. Admission Committee will announce online counselling schedules through its website and through advertisements in prominent newspapers across the state.

5. Students will be required to indicate preference for courses and colleges online.

BE Civil Engineering: This program is of 30 seats and it's standard admission mode through GUJCET scores. The course provides knowledge on all areas dealing with civil engineering and makes students ready for future careers in construction and infrastructure development.

BE Electrical Engineering: This program has an intake of 30 students and all the admissions are processed through the GUJCET admission process. The curriculum of this programme puts more emphasis on electrical engineering core and its application.

BE Mechanical Engineering: This course also consists of 30 seats and will follow the GUJCET-based admission procedure. It will give a thorough training about Mechanical engineering principles and practices.

BE Automobile Engineering: The program has 30 seats and this disciplinary specialization follows the same GUJCET based admission process. It brings a focus on automotive engineering and design.

BE Computer Engineering: This program is offered with 30 seats and allows admission based on GUJCET performance. Its subject matter encompasses the disciplines of computer science and engineering.
