SPB Patel Engineering College, Mehsana, is a prestigious college offering fine engineering education. AICTE-approved college follows a formal admission process for its B.Tech programs. The primary mode of entry to the B.Tech courses of SPB Patel Engineering College is by passing the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) conducted by the Gujarat Government.

Degree wise Admission Process
B.Tech: SPB Patel Engineering College offers seven full-time B.Tech courses. Admission is based on the performance of the candidate in GUJCET. The college offers B.Tech in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Automobile Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. Total capacity for B.Tech courses is 546 students.
Diploma: The college provides four Diploma courses in Automobile Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. Each of the diploma courses has 60 seats except Automobile Engineering having 30 seats. Admission in diploma courses could be different from B.Tech and is probable through 10th standard or a special entrance test.
Syllabus is average as it looks older and not recently updated as per the current need of job markets. Teachers are good but improvisation could be there. Study will not make students jib ready without external training provided at job and workplace.
