Sri Kumaran B. Ed College is an affiliated B. Ed. College of Tamil Nadu and situated at Thamarankottai which was founded in 2008. This co-educational institute located on a sprawling 6 acres of area is committed to the cause of training teachers and is recognized by NCTE the National Council for Teacher Education. The college provides only one course which is Bachelor of Education ( B. Ed.) It has 200 students capacity and 13 faculty members. Sri Kumaran B.Ed. College is committed to bringing up quality education impacting lifelong learners and preparing students for the profession of teaching.

Sri Kumaran B. Ed College possesses a variety of facilities which are helpful while learning in the institution. For the disabled students there is also a hostels section in the college where the students can hostel both male and female individually.

Sri Kumaran B.Ed. College is totally affiliated to B.Ed. Programme and it is a two years full time course.
